A 10,000 km Culinary Journey
Our restaurant owner has traveled extensively across Türkiye, covering more than 10,000 kilometers by road. The journey took him through coastal towns, historic cities, mountain villages, and local markets, exploring the depth of Turkish cuisine.
Along the way, he tasted countless regional dishes — kebabs, desserts, pastries, and traditional street food.
Yet among all those flavors, one dessert stayed in his memory.
It was in Cappadocia, 🪂 🎈a region famous for its unique rock formations and hot air balloons. In a small family-owned restaurant, he was served a simple but unforgettable dessert: pumpkin served with tahini and traditional Turkish ice cream.
The flavors were surprising, balanced, and deeply comforting.
Years later, that dessert remained vivid in his mind.
This Ramadan, we decided to recreate that experience in Singapore.
