Planning a weekend around Suntec City or Marina Bay usually starts with a few ideas: some shopping, a walk, perhaps something fun for the kids. Then comes the question everyone has a different answer to: “Where are we eating?”

One person wants meat. Another wants something cheesy. Someone isn’t particularly hungry, while someone else has been thinking about lunch since breakfast. And the kids? They’ve already moved on to dessert.

For family dining at Millenia Walk, gather everyone around the table at Donergy Turkish Kebab. With kebab plates and rolls, freshly baked pide, charcoal-grilled dishes and meat-free choices, everyone can order their favourite or pick a few dishes to share.

We’re a family-owned, kid-friendly restaurant, and little ones are always welcome. Whether you’re bringing a picky eater or an adventurous little foodie, our team is happy to help you find something they’ll enjoy.

There’s a free Turkish ice cream treat for the little ones, too.

1. A Family Meal with Plenty to Choose From

You don’t need to be familiar with Turkish food to enjoy a meal at Donergy. Start with something you already like, whether that’s grilled chicken, warm bread, melted cheese or a generous plate of rice and meat.

For döner fans, there’s chicken, beef or mixed kebab. Have it wrapped in a roll, tucked into Tombik bread, or served with rice, fries or salad. Everyone can choose their own combination, so there’s no need to agree on the same thing. If you prefer something from the grill, try our chicken shish or Adana kebab. These are good options when you’re ready for a proper sit-down lunch or dinner after spending the morning out.

Can’t decide? Ask our team what they recommend. Tell us what you usually enjoy, and we’ll help you choose.

A Word from One of Our Regulars

Arthur Goh shared this about dining with his family at Donergy:

Delicious, value for money Turkish food! Excellent service and spacious seating. Our family always enjoyed our dinners here. Food comes fast which is almost very important for the young ones. - Arthur Goh (Google review)

2. Pide for the Cheese Fans at the Table

If someone in the family always votes for pizza, introduce them to pide.

This Turkish flatbread is baked with toppings such as cheese, chicken, beef, or spinach and cheese. It arrives sliced, making it easy to pass around and try alongside the rest of your meal.

Cheese pide is a good place to start, especially for anyone trying Turkish food for the first time. Or choose a meat topping if you want something more substantial. You can order one to share while everyone has their own main, or make pide part of a few dishes for the whole table. Just settle who gets the last piece before it becomes a family discussion.

For children who are unsure about trying something new, sharing a slice means they can have a taste without ordering a whole dish. You might find they keep reaching back for more.

3. Meat-Free Choices to Add to Your Meal

A Turkish meal doesn’t have to be all about meat.

Falafel is an option for anyone who wants a meat-free meal, while hummus with warm bread is easy to share. Put it in the middle of the table and let everyone help themselves.

If your family enjoys trying a little of everything, consider adding mezze to your order. It gives everyone a chance to taste a few different flavours alongside their mains. You don’t have to plan an elaborate spread, either. A couple of favourite dishes and something to share can be enough. Order according to your appetite, and ask our team if you need help deciding how much food to get.

4. Free Turkish Ice Cream for Kids at Millenia Walk

Now for the part the little ones may have been waiting for.

At Donergy Turkish Kebab - Millenia Walk, children aged 12 and below can enjoy one complimentary kids’ Turkish ice cream per main course ordered. This offer is available for dine-in only.

Turkish ice cream, known as dondurma, has a stretchy texture that makes it a little different from the usual scoop. And collecting it can take a few attempts. Our team’s playful serving tricks might leave the kids reaching for a cone that suddenly moves out of the way, just when they think they’ve got it.

Have your phone ready if you’d like to catch the moment. The surprised looks, determined attempts and laughter are part of the fun. Parents get to enjoy dessert time, too, even if they’re mostly there to hold the camera. And once the kids finally have their cones, there’s usually a proud smile to go with them.

5. A Lunch or Dinner Stop Near Suntec City and Marina Bay

Weekend outings with children involve plenty of walking, a few changes of plan and, usually, someone announcing they’re hungry at the least convenient moment.

Donergy is at Millenia Walk, unit 01-91B, a short walk from Promenade MRT and close to Suntec City and Marina Square. If you’re already spending the day in the area, you can stop for a meal without making a separate journey across town. Come for lunch before your afternoon plans, or join us for dinner when everyone is ready to sit down.

There’s no need to turn it into a special occasion. Sometimes, a family meal is simply a chance to take a break, share some food and hear what everyone enjoyed about the day.

Sharing a meal with a group? Here’s what Anthony Yeo had to say:

Love the seasoning of the meats. I usually eat in a group. So find there shared meals pretty good value for money. - Anthony Yeo (Google Review)
